Your own portfolio
Every member runs their own paper portfolio against live markets — stocks, options, and futures — building a verifiable track record of skill and discipline.
Who we are
Quantonauts brings together a dynamic team of student researchers — combining deep curiosity about markets with modern technology. Our goal goes far beyond running a fund: we exist to democratize quantitative finance and give students the real, hands-on experience the industry actually demands.
Quantitative finance has been gated behind expensive tools, closed institutions, and insider knowledge. We're opening it up.
Most students never get to touch a real trading system before their first job. We think that's backwards. Quantonauts members research, build, test, and run genuine systematic strategies against live markets — on a platform we built ourselves — so the first time they step into a trading floor or research seat, they've already done the work.
Everything is paper-traded, so students can take real intellectual risks — testing bold ideas, surviving drawdowns, and learning discipline — without real money on the line. The skills, the process, and the track record are what's real.
What membership means
Every member runs their own paper portfolio against live markets — stocks, options, and futures — building a verifiable track record of skill and discipline.
A 26-module quantitative trading curriculum takes you from market basics through statistics, backtesting, machine learning, and risk — all the way to a capstone strategy.
Live charts, institutional-style order types, an algorithmic trading API, and performance analytics — the same class of tools professionals use, in a safe environment.
Peer review, shared research, and a culture of honest feedback. Beginners become capable quantitative thinkers by building alongside people one step ahead of them.
Finance, computer science, math, engineering — great quants come from everywhere.
We recruit for curiosity, not credentials. Our members' backgrounds span finance, computer science, mathematics, and engineering — and no finance degree is required to join. What unites the team is a willingness to learn code and markets, the honesty to test ideas rigorously, and the drive to build something measurable.
We're growing into a global community that helps students everywhere break into investing — sharing tools, mentorship, and real market experience across borders.
We're recruiting curious students worldwide. Internship slots are limited and reviewed individually.
